Me and a friend of mine used to play
blackjack and some variations of it when
we were children.
It has to be one of the easiest games
to learn. All you really need to know
is how to count to twenty-one. The game
itself has strategies that should be
learned, but the basics are pretty simple.
When I play blackjack I try to keep track
of how many low and high cards go by.
This is NOT Card-Counting, just a little
strategy that helps my chances of beating
the dealer. I don't count the cards,
I just have an idea of when the laws
of probability are on my side. If I see
alot of high cards go by ,then of course
the next card has a better chance of
being a low card. When you play
blackjack these are the fundamentals of the game.
Knowing exactly how many high and low
cards have been turned over and what
the next card will be is Card Counting
and is illegal at all casinos.
For most newcomers to gambling, I recommend
they play blackjack before learning other
games, Just because of the simplicity and
fun of it. I really can't think of anyone
that won't be able to grasp the concept
of this game. I remember the first time
I started to play
blackjack it took me
two rounds at the table to pretty much
start playing like a pro.
